Ministry of Scent

Ministry of Scent is a perfume shop that carries independent and niche fragrance brands, along with candles, incense, diffusers and room sprays. The shop stocks a large rotating selection of fragrances from brands such as Zoologist, Tauer Perfumes and Les Eaux Primordiales, and it sells sample sets so shoppers can try scents on skin before buying a full bottle.

The Pacific Heights store at 2408 Fillmore Street is open 11am to 7pm every day, and there is a second shop in the Mission District on Valencia Street. Samples can be ordered online and credited toward a full bottle, and the shop also offers gift cards and private events. Staff suggest calling before a visit with questions.
