Lutz Plumbing Inc.

Lutz Plumbing is a San Francisco plumbing company that has been serving the city since 1929, making it one of the oldest plumbing firms in town. The family-owned shop handles emergency repairs, water heater work, drain cleaning, sewer lines, toilets, leak detection and bathroom and kitchen remodels, for both homes and commercial buildings. It is an authorized service representative for TOTO, Kohler and ThermaSol, and it installs and services tankless and heat-pump water heaters with permits and seismic straps.

Emergency calls go to an after-hours dispatch line with a callback, and regular office hours run Monday through Friday. The shop is at 3123 17th Street in the Mission District and serves San Francisco along with the Peninsula, Marin County and the East Bay. Its sister business, Lutz Bath & Kitchen, is in the same building and offers a showroom for fixtures and remodel design.
