The Joint OB

The Joint OB is a locally owned sushi and tapas restaurant with craft cocktails and beer. Its sushi is sourced daily from a Japanese fishmonger in Los Angeles, and the tapas menu runs from karaage chicken and maple-miso Brussels sprouts to seared Hokkaido scallops. The house A5 wagyu burger and A5 wagyu cuts are among the more distinctive dishes.

The restaurant is open every day from noon, with a daily happy hour from noon to 6 PM featuring sushi, tapas, drinks and draft beer. Takeout, delivery and gift cards are available, and tables can be reserved through Tock. The patio is a popular spot for a sunset beer. The restaurant is at 4902 Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach, San Diego.
