Spot On Training

Spot On Training is a San Diego dog training business led by certified trainer Andrea Acosta, CPDT-KA, who has more than 20 years of training experience. Its focus is real-world training, teaching dogs manners, focus and confidence in the places owners actually take them, such as parks, dog beaches, breweries, trails and patios. Services include small group classes for puppies, teenage dogs and adult dogs, private lessons for dogs who need extra help with reactivity or high energy, and training for service and therapy dog goals, including AKC Canine Good Citizen preparation.

All training is force-free and uses positive reinforcement. Group classes meet at a different San Diego location as the course moves along, and private training is available before a dog joins group class. Andrea has previously trained animals at the San Diego Zoo. The business serves San Diego, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Encinitas, La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe, with many classes held within about a 20-minute drive of Del Mar. Calls and texts go to 619-502-0082, and the contact form covers questions about group or private training.
