SMD Painting

SMD Painting is a family-owned painting contractor with 22 years of experience, doing residential and commercial interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing and specialty coatings. The company says it uses premium products from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Dunn Edwards, and it also takes on small home repair jobs.

The owner, Scott Dumas, is a U.S. Army veteran who handles customer communication himself. Crews work on homes and offices across San Diego, Mission Hills, Del Mar and Kensington, and the company lists Carlsbad, La Costa, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Coronado and Bankers Hill among the areas it serves. Free estimates are available by phone or through the contact form, and the business is open weekdays with weekend work by appointment.
