Point Break Bar & Grill

Point Break Bar & Grill is a casual bar and restaurant on Shelter Island in San Diego, known for breakfast served all day. The menu covers benedicts, omelets, scrambles, stuffed French toast, pancakes and chicken fried steak, with a full bar and a Point Break take on the morning drink menu, including mimosas and Bloody Marys.

The building has a long history as a 1960s nightclub and a later Boll Weevil burger stand. The restaurant moved to its current spot in 2009 and added dinner and a full liquor license in 2020. It is a family-owned place with a relaxed, colorful feel, and it hosts large parties and private reservations by phone or email.
