Pizza Port Ocean Beach is a brewpub serving hand-made pizzas, munchies and salads alongside its own craft beers. The location has 40 taps pouring a wide range of styles, from lagers and blonde ales to IPAs, a tropical IPA and an imperial coffee porter. It is part of a San Diego County brewpub group that started in Solana Beach in the 1990s.
The Ocean Beach pub opened in 2010 on Bacon Street, about a block from the beach, so it is a common stop before or after a surf session. Food and beer can be ordered online for pickup, and the location hosts private events. Hours run daily from late morning until 10 PM on weeknights and 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
