PeopleReady

PeopleReady San Diego is a branch of the national on-demand staffing company, placing temporary workers with businesses in construction, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and events. The company has been in operation since 1989 and uses its JobStack app to match workers with open shifts.

Businesses can request staff by phone or through the branch's online form, and workers register through the JobStack app with a Form I-9 and no resume. All associates are W-2 employees, which the company notes is checked for compliance with local and federal employment law. The branch is at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in the Clairemont Mesa area of San Diego, open weekday mornings and early afternoons with a shorter Saturday schedule.
