Herb & Wood

Herb & Wood is a restaurant serving rustic, wood-fired Mediterranean-influenced dishes with a California approach to seasonality and sustainability. The menu covers small plates, vegetables, entrees, pasta and wood-fired pizzas, along with cocktails and handcrafted desserts. Chef Brian Malarkey created the concept, and Chef Aidan Owens oversees the menu and culinary operations as culinary director.

Dinner is served nightly, with a daily happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. and reservations available through the restaurant. The space has a grand central bar, a barrel-vaulted ceiling and an outdoor courtyard with a two-sided fireplace. The restaurant also hosts private events for weddings, corporate gatherings and dinner parties, and sells gift cards. It is located at 936 W Ivy St in San Diego.
