Flowers 'a la Carte

Flowers 'a la Carte is a family-owned floral boutique that designs bouquets, vase arrangements, wrapped flowers, roses, tulips and succulent gift pieces for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy and holidays. The shop also offers specialty blooms and wedding flowers, and says it hand-picks flowers from several growers a few times a week to keep its selection fresh.

Most orders can be placed online, and many designs are offered for next-day delivery, while same-day delivery is available if you call the shop before its 9:00 AM online cutoff. Customers who want a surprise can choose a "surprise me" design. The shop is on Carmel Mountain Road in Carmel Mountain Ranch, between Poway and Rancho Bernardo, and is open for walk-in visits Monday through Saturday.
