Design Synthesis Inc.

Design Synthesis Inc. is an architectural millwork firm that designs and manufactures custom windows, exterior and interior doors, cabinets, furniture, trim work and glazing. The company pairs design with its own manufacturing, and its product lines include sliding doors, swing and pivot doors, bi-folding doors and thresholds. Its work covers both homes and commercial buildings.

The firm often works as a subcontractor on a project team, helping choose materials and manufactured products that fit the design. Its projects have reached well beyond San Diego, across California and into Hawaii, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Florida and Mexico. Products carry a one-year limited warranty. The office is on Black Mountain Road in San Diego, and the company was formed there in 1975.
