Carolina Custom Design

Carolina Custom Design makes window treatments and custom soft furnishings, including draperies, cornice boxes, shades, shutters, valances and blinds, along with headboards, bed frames, pillows, throws and upholstered wall panels. The team also handles reupholstery and slipcovers, and offers outdoor treatments and outdoor upholstery.

The process starts with a one-on-one consultation with a designer, which can be by phone or a virtual appointment. Designers then present textile and color options, develop a detailed proposal, and can provide storyboards and product ideas. Production happens in the company's own workroom in San Diego, where the team supervises each piece from start to finish.
