South Texas Solar Systems

South Texas Solar Systems designs, installs and services solar panel systems for homes, businesses, schools and farms. Founded in 2007 in San Antonio, the company says it has completed more than 4,000 projects and acts as designer, electrician and warranty holder for its systems. It is a Panasonic Certified Elite Installer and offers commercial panels, residential rooftop systems and off-grid systems that run without a utility connection.

Quotes are free and can be requested online or by phone, and the team looks at your roof and electric bill before proposing a system. Existing owners can request service for panel cleaning, system diagnostics, damaged panel replacement and warranty work, with a form for uploading bills and inverter photos. The office keeps weekday hours and is closed on weekends. Work covers San Antonio and much of South Texas, from Austin down to the Rio Grande Valley.
