Smashin Crab

Smashin Crab is a Cajun seafood restaurant known for seafood boils built around crab, crawfish, shrimp and mussels, finished with its signature sauce and spice blends. The menu also includes chargrilled oysters, po'boys, gumbo, red beans and rice, and fried catfish, along with New Orleans-inspired cocktails. The family-owned group draws on family recipes from Shreveport, Lafayette and New Orleans.

The original location opened in April 2017 off Bandera Road in Leon Valley, and there are three San Antonio locations in total, including Stone Oak and Alamo Ranch. Dining is casual and family friendly, with dine-in and takeout available, and the restaurant also offers catering and private dining for parties. Hours run late on weekends, and there is a weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 PM.
