Mendo Motors & Transmissions

Mendo Motorz & Transmissions is an auto repair shop in San Antonio that specializes in transmission repair, resealing and full rebuilds. The shop services automatic, manual and CVT transmissions for most makes and models, and also handles routine maintenance, brakes, steering and suspension, engine diagnostics and alignments. Paul Flynn, a U.S. Army veteran, owns and runs the shop, which he founded in 2019 as a dealership alternative for all automotive services.

Repairs and maintenance carry a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty. Customers can book an appointment by phone or online, and the shop offers early drop-off and shuttle service. The waiting room has free Wi-Fi and coffee. Drivers with hard shifting, fluid leaks or a burning smell are encouraged to have the transmission checked promptly.
