Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse

Chama Gaucha serves Brazilian churrasco in rodízio style, with gauchos carving USDA Prime beef, picanha, filet mignon, ribeye, lamb and sausage directly onto your plate. A salad bar with more than 30 items, including imported Spanish and Italian cheeses and charcuterie, comes with the meal, along with sides like garlic mashed potatoes and pão de queijo. Desserts include Brazilian flan and key lime pie.

Lunch and dinner are served, and reservations can be made online or by phone. Private dining rooms handle corporate dinners, birthdays, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, and gift cards are available. The restaurant sits on the north side of San Antonio and has been open since 2008, making it the chain's original location. Diners control the pace of the meat service by turning a card green or red.
