Babcock Automotive

Babcock Automotive is a family-owned, full-service auto repair shop that works on most foreign and domestic cars, trucks, vans and SUVs. Its ASE-certified technicians handle everything from oil changes, fluid flushes and tune-ups to brake jobs, transmission work and engine repair, with diagnostics for check engine lights and drivability problems.

The shop takes walk-ins without an appointment and offers prompt estimates, with a customized plan built around the customer's budget. It also handles extended warranty paperwork for most major service contract companies, and offers a 10% discount to teachers, first responders and military members. Weekday hours run from 8 AM to 6 PM with Saturday mornings and afternoons, and the shop is closed on Sundays. The shop is at 6380 Babcock Road on the San Antonio side of town.
