Liberty Tire Recycling

Liberty Tire Recycling collects scrap automobile, truck and off-road tires and processes them into crumb rubber, tire-derived fuel and recovered steel wire. The company also makes recycled rubber products for landscaping, playgrounds, asphalt and sports surfacing, sold under brands such as SmartMIX and Playsafer.

Scrap tire collection is handled through its regional network, and the company also resells inspected used tires at wholesale prices. Its corporate office is in Pittsburgh, and it runs collection and processing facilities across much of the United States and in parts of Canada. Both commercial and retail product lines are offered, so contractors and home buyers can each find materials for their projects.
