Moose Flooring

Moose Flooring is a Utah flooring contractor that works on both homes and commercial projects. On the residential side it focuses on hardwood installation, sanding and refinishing, and custom stairs, generally for projects starting around $10,000. The commercial division handles commercial tile, LVT and carpet tile, commercial hardwood, and raised access flooring for general contractors, architects, and owners, with projects typically ranging from $50,000 to $2 million. Recent commercial work includes tile in a university food hall and a café, and refinishing a bamboo floor in a clubhouse.

The company was established in 2022 and is led by owner Jakob Altizer. It is a Utah B100 licensed contractor and carries commercial insurance, including umbrella coverage. Residential jobs start with an estimate request, and commercial work begins with a bid request that includes plans and the flooring scope.
