Stitchin' Post Gifts

Stitchin' Post Gifts is a downtown fixture on The Square in Salisbury, and has been since 1975. The shop carries brands such as Swan Creek candles, Willow Tree, Nora Fleming, Pura Vida and Scout, with an emphasis on buying and selling products made in the U.S.A.

Pam Hylton Coffield and her mother, Margaret Hylton, started the business and still lead it. Management favors vendors who share a commitment to giving back, and the store runs promotions to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits, especially Faithful Friends and the Humane Society of Rowan County. It has been a readers' choice winner in the Salisbury Post's RoCo Gold competitions.
