The Reed Salem Oregon

The Reed Ballroom is a historic event space inside The Reed, a mixed-use landmark in Salem that was built in 1870 as the Reed Opera House. It hosts weddings and receptions, business meetings and conferences, and private parties, proms, fundraisers and galas, with a 1,500-seat theater history behind the building.

The Reed also houses a marketplace of locally owned shops, restaurants, coffee, a convenience store and salons and barbers. Event dates can be checked online or arranged by contacting the property office, which handles bookings and leasing. The building is at 189 Liberty Street NE in Salem, and weekday and weekend hours run late into the evening.
