The Northwest Hub

The Northwest Hub is a nonprofit bicycle shop that sells new and refurbished bikes, parts and accessories, and offers tune-ups and repairs. Many of the used bikes on the floor are donated by the community and refurbished by its mechanics and volunteers, and each refurbished bike is fully tuned, inspected and carries a one-year warranty. New bikes come with complimentary lifetime adjustments, and the shop stocks Marin, Pure Cycles, KHS and Velotric e-bikes.

Repairs are offered on a sliding scale based on ability to pay, and a 30% discount is available to EBT cardholders. A full tune-up is listed at $120 and a full overhaul at $200, with smaller service charges for minor adjustments. The shop is at 1230 Broadway Street NE in Salem. Its sales and service fund job training and bike programs, including commuter packages for people who need transportation.
