Minto Island Growers

Minto Island Growers is a 30-acre diversified organic farm and nursery in South Salem, known for spring plant starts and certified organic produce. The farm sells through a community supported agriculture (CSA) program, the Salem Saturday Market, and its on-site Farm Stand, which carries fresh spring produce, local eggs and kombucha. Two acres of blueberries are open for U-Pick, and the farm also grows Camellia sinensis tea, which it describes as Oregon's oldest commercial-scale tea planting.

The Farm Stand has posted Friday afternoon and Saturday morning hours, with a food cart and wood-fired pizza oven on site. The farm does not accept SNAP payments at the Farm Stand, though SNAP is accepted for the CSA and at the Saturday Salem Market in spring. Co-owners Chris Jenkins and Elizabeth Miller Jenkins run the farm alongside a range of community events and private rentals. Brown Island Road sits next to Minto Brown Island Park.
