Footwear Express

Footwear Express is a locally owned shoe store that has been fitting Oregon customers since 1974, when it opened in Albany as a single shop. It now runs two stores, one in downtown Salem and one in Albany, and specializes in high-end comfort footwear for work, outdoor activity and everyday wear. Its brands include Birkenstock, Dansko and Hoka, and the stock covers women's, men's, kids' and unisex styles along with socks, arch supports and handbags.

The store works as a sit-and-fit shop, so customers are encouraged to sit down and get one-on-one attention from staff. Shoppers can also browse and buy from the online store. The Salem location is at 290 Commercial St NE, and the Albany store is on Santiam Highway SE. Both stores are open Monday through Saturday and on Sundays too, with shorter Sunday hours.
