Boulder Images

Boulder Images designs and builds boulder retaining walls, natural stone firepit cove seating, stone staircases and shoreline restoration for backyards and commercial properties. The company is known for boulder walls chosen for color, shape and layout, with the owner handpicking each boulder from quarries around the country.

Work starts with a free consultation, and the crew meets on site with each client to talk through the design before building begins. They run track machines rather than wheeled equipment, which limits damage to driveways and roadways during a job. Boulder Images also replaces old timber or stone walls, adding a drainage system and a new wall. The company is based in Apple Valley and serves nearby suburbs including Rosemount, Eagan and Randolph.
