The Hive Tavern and Eatery

The Hive Tavern and Eatery is a bar and eatery in St. Charles that pours hand-crafted seasonal cocktails, around 20 draft beers plus cans and bottles, and an in-house seasonal wine list. The kitchen serves a seasonal food menu and a main menu, along with shareable plates and house-made catering for events.

The owners are women who started out as a bartender and a server, and the bar opened in September 2021 in the former Beehive space on West Main Street. Weekday happy hour runs from 3 to 6 PM with discounted shareables, drafts and wine. The bar hosts birthdays, baby showers and rehearsal dinners, and it stays open late on Friday and Saturday nights.
