The Basement Gym

The Basement Gym, locally known as TBG, was established in 2018 by BeneFIT Health and Fitness Consultants and is built around strength training. Its roughly 8,000 square feet hold specialty bars for powerlifting, equipment for strongmen, a functional training wing and a weights wing, so lifters and general fitness members can train side by side.

The gym has an in-house salon with a blow dry bar and organic salon services, a chiropractic office, and a pro-shop selling supplements, drinks and apparel. Members get a locker room with showers and free WiFi. It opens early on weekdays and keeps shorter hours on weekends. The gym is on West Main Street in St. Charles.
