The Press

The Press is a neighborhood gastropub and grill known for its scratch-made burgers, especially the Conquistador, a datil pepper stuffed burger with bacon, chorizo and manchego that has been voted Best Burger in St. Augustine. The menu also covers fried pickles, gingered calamari, Datil Beer Cheese pretzels, sandwiches, flatbreads and entrees, with breads baked fresh daily and slaws and sauces made in house.

The Press is in Westgate Plaza on State Road 16, a short drive from World Golf Village and Palencia. Dog-friendly outdoor seating is available, reservations are accepted, and a private room can be booked for events. Custom catering is offered for office parties and home celebrations. The restaurant is closed Mondays and Sundays and serves dinner-style hours from late morning into the evening.
