Savvy Dog Training

Savvy Dog Training is run by Savannah LeFors, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Fear-Free Certified Trainer who has worked with pet, therapy and service dogs in Florida since 2015. Her approach is force-free and science-based, and she is fluent in American Sign Language, so services are open to the Deaf community. Common work includes barking, leash pulling, separation anxiety, crate and potty training, and basic obedience, with an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Tricks class also offered.

Training comes as private lessons, group classes, day training while owners are away, or remote tele-training by video call, which can be done anywhere in the country. Private lessons run about an hour and can take place at a location of your choice, and bookings can be made online. Group classes meet weekly at the Pet Supermarket on South Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine, and a reservation and payment in advance are required to join.
