Preferred Pet Care LLC

Preferred Pet Care LLC offers private boarding, day care, overnight pet sitting and grooming for dogs and cats. Boarding takes place in the sitters' home rather than a kennel, with a full run of the house, open playtime with the other dogs, and couch time and belly rubs included in the rate. Other services include nail trims, ear cleaning, claw clipping, and pet sitting and house sitting visits that cover food, medication, walks and mail.

The business has served St. Augustine and St. John's County since 2015 and offers meet-and-greet consultations by phone or text. Vaccinations and flea and tick prevention must be current for pets staying in the sitters' home. Multi-pet and weekly visitor discounts are available on day care, and each extra pet in home services is half price. Owners can also get help with vet visits, including check-ups, emergencies and surgery drop-offs and pick-ups.
