Michael's St. Augustine

Michael's is a contemporary steak and seafood restaurant led by chef Michael Lugo, whose ingredient-driven menu changes with the seasons. The cooking blends modern technique with local and regional ingredients, centered on steaks and coastal Spanish-inspired dishes. The restaurant is known for its wine program, which includes an extensive wine library and a list that has earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, along with crafted cocktails and a grand piano with regular live performers.

The restaurant is inside the Hyatt Hotel in Vilano Beach, with a lobby bar and a rooftop called Pesca under the same umbrella. Reservations can be made online. Complimentary valet service comes with dinner, but it does not cover bar or rooftop service. The atmosphere is casually elegant, and the staff focuses on friendly, attentive service. A curated wine dinner series called The Collector's Table is also offered.
