Cousteau's Waffle and Milkshake Bar

Cousteau's Waffle & Milkshake Bar makes Belgian Liege waffles in-house from dough studded with pearl sugar, cooked and caramelized to order on a hot cast iron press. Its signature Plimpton is topped with blueberry compote, whipped cream and local honey, and the Kingsley comes with peanut butter and banana slices. The milkshakes are hand-spun from dense housemade soft-serve and blended with add-ins before being topped with whipped cream.

The shop is on SR-A1A South in Saint Augustine, Florida, and is open daily, with later hours on Friday and Saturday. Waffle Bites, bite-sized sugar waffles dusted with powdered sugar, can be ordered by phone for a gathering or bought by the bag to go. Gift cards are available.
