Storage of America - Gratiot

Storage of America on Gratiot Road in Saginaw Township offers climate controlled self storage units, all inside a fully fenced, gated building with about 1,050 units on the ground floor. Sizes run from a 5x5 locker for seasonal boxes up to a 10x30 that can hold a large house or business inventory. Units are heated, which matters through a Michigan winter, and the facility suits household goods, records, instruments and equipment that fits through a standard door.

A covered interior driveway runs through the middle of the building, so customers can drive in and unload beside their unit out of the rain and snow. Trucks up to 11 feet tall fit inside, and dollies and carts are free to use. Each unit comes with a lock at no extra charge, and select units offer StorageDefender monitoring with phone alerts. Cars, boats and RVs are not accepted. Rent is month to month, and units can be reserved online.
