Historic train caboose restaurant known for its fried Monte Cristo410 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI

Saginaw Old Town Junction is a restaurant and bar built around a historic train caboose, with train memorabilia and decor throughout the dining room. The kitchen is known for its fried Monte Cristo, which comes back as a monthly special, and the menu also covers food and drinks with a bar side. Tony Krasinski owns the restaurant with general manager Kaila Klepsch, and the building was renovated and reopened in late 2020 after an earlier closure.
Dining is available indoors, on the deck, or under a large pavilion, and both outdoor areas are dog friendly. Takeout is offered, and online ordering is available through GrubHub. The restaurant hosts parties and fundraisers, and it partners with local radio and the Great Lakes Bay Dining Card, which gives card holders a discount on their bill. It sits at 410 Mackinaw Road in Saginaw.
