THE CAVE

The Cave buys, sells and trades new and used retro, classic, vintage and hard-to-find pop culture items, including collectibles, posters, board games, toys, movies and video games, comics, t-shirts, apparel and shoes. Its stores are large retail spaces with shelves stocked with collectible toys from past decades, rare or strange books, graphic novels and manga, and a steady stream of new arrivals.

The Cave works on store credit trades, where the offer in credit is higher than the cash offer, and it cannot take a split of credit and cash. Sellers must be 18 or older with a valid ID and bring items in to get a claim slip. Buying stops at 9 PM even though the stores stay open until 10 PM, so large buybacks should be started early. The business has two locations in the Sacramento area, one in Folsom and one on Arden Way in Sacramento, plus an outlet store that only sells.
