Rainbow Electronics

Rainbow Electronics repairs and modifies professional and consumer audio and video equipment, from 1920s battery radio sets and tube-based electronics to modern digital multi-track gear. The shop started in 1963 as an electronics repair business and was one of the few that repaired color televisions. It is known for lasting repairs, creative modifications and attentive customer service.

Neighbors can bring equipment in for local repair, and many customers from across the country mail their gear in. The shop is open Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings, and it is closed on weekends and holidays. John McCormack has owned the business since 1988.
