Prelude Kitchen & Bar

Prelude Kitchen & Bar is a modern American restaurant in downtown Sacramento. Its chefs work directly with local farmers, and the menu is made from scratch around ingredients from the Sacramento region. The kitchen serves lunch and dinner along with craft cocktails and a dessert menu, and the room suits date nights, business meals and special occasions.

Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner. Private dining is available in a lower-level room with a full bar and private restrooms, in a larger banquet room, and in a semi-private lounge beside the bar with a fireplace. The patio has a view of the California State Capitol. Validated parking is at the Capitol Garage directly across from the restaurant, and the Golden 1 Center and Convention Center are a short walk away.
