About Hanks Furniture

The story

Hanks Furniture sells sofas and sectionals, recliners and lift chairs, beds and mattresses, dressers, and dining room furniture, with condo-sized pieces, youth bedroom sets, and outdoor furniture also on the floor. Founded in 1975 by Hank Browne, the family-owned chain now runs 16 stores in three states and is listed among America's Top 100 Independent Furniture Retailers.

The Russellville store on East Parkway is one of those locations. Financing and leasing options are available, and approved applicants can buy right away at any showroom. For mattresses, staff set up a bedMATCH profile and have shoppers lie on a test bed for three minutes to narrow the choices before trying the recommended models. The company recycles all of its store waste.
