PRISM of Georgia

PRISM of Georgia is a day program for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities who are no longer in high school. Its curriculum covers life and job skills, one-on-one job coaching, community interaction, and real work experience at job sites. Participants also run small businesses of their own, including PRISM Planet Patrol, a pick-up recycling service for Fulton County businesses, and PRISMarket, an online shop.

The daily program runs Monday through Friday, with general activities from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and arrival allowed from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM, and participants can attend two to five days a week. Participants must arrange their own transportation, and lunch is not included. Enrollment starts with a phone appointment, followed by a tour, an assessment and an application. PRISM is an approved Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation provider and accepts Medicaid Waiver, private pay and other funding. It is located on Old Alabama Road in Roswell.
