Police Department

Roswell Police Department handles the city's police work, including the E-911 Emergency Communications Center based at its Public Safety Annex on Alpharetta Highway in Roswell. The department also takes police reports, handles police records and permits, holds property and evidence, and runs a tip hotline. Its community programs include the Citizens' Police Academy and an internship program.

Residents can request a residential safety check or a residential home security check and register their alarm systems. Police headquarters is a separate location on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell, and the Roswell-Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center is also part of the department's operations.
