Texana Center

Texana Center provides mental health, autism, and developmental disabilities services for children and adults, and it is designated as the local mental health authority and local intellectual and developmental disability authority for its area. Its services include crisis services, outpatient mental health care, autism and ABA services, behavior improvement programs, and early childhood intervention. The organization is a governmental entity with tax-exempt status and a staff of more than 600.

A 24-hour mental health crisis hotline is available by phone, and crisis services are offered around the clock. The center serves Fort Bend, Austin, Colorado, Matagorda, Waller, and Wharton counties, and its main office is on Graeber Road in Rosenberg. Developmental disabilities and early childhood intervention staff have temporarily relocated to a Rosenberg office on Airport Avenue, so callers should check which location fits their need.
