Bob's Taco Station is a homestyle Tex-Mex restaurant in downtown Rosenberg, opened in 1991 by Bob Alanis with his parents, Joe and Maria. It started as a New Orleans-style snowball shop in a converted gas station. The menu centers on breakfast tacos, carne asada and other tacos, Tex-Mex plates, and homemade tamales made fresh daily with seasoned fillings and masa.
Tamales can be ordered to go or for delivery, and a limited holiday tamale selection is available by pre-order during the festive season. The dining room suits a casual family dinner or a small celebration with friends. A temporary closure is noted, with a reopening planned for May 22.
