American Heritage Academy

American Heritage Academy & Childcare is a locally owned, private child care center serving infants through pre-kindergarten and school-age children after school. Its programs run from the infant room and toddler classes through preschool and pre-kindergarten, with an after-school program called the Imaginariam for older children. The curriculum is the Appelbaum theme-based approach, built around language and literacy, math, art, signing and music, and social skills such as respect and responsibility.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM and accepts children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Meals and snacks are provided each day, and the center offers transportation from several Rosenberg elementary schools. Parents can sign in and out at the door, and classrooms are on camera with recordings available to parents on request. Spanish is spoken at the center, and families are encouraged to stop by.
