NICKY DOODLES

Nicky Doodles is an American restaurant and ice cream shop known for its large selection of frozen treats, with 50 flavors of soft-serve, 30 flavors of hard ice cream and 28 specialty sundaes. The kitchen cooks sandwiches to order, including steak sandwiches, hot ham, hot dogs, roast beef, buffalo chicken and burgers, along with fries, tater tots and fried sides.

The Rome spot on Erie Blvd in West Rome is one of three locations, with others in Verona and New Hartford. Guests can eat in the dining room, under the pavilion or at one of the many outdoor picnic tables. Gift cards are sold for the shop. Food is served until 8 PM daily and ice cream stays open until 8:30 PM, so it works well for a late family treat.
