Fairytale

Fairytale is a preschool in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, focused on foreign language learning and the social and emotional skills children need as they grow. Its approach includes positive discipline, where children are treated with the same respect as adults and taught cooperation, empathy and self-control. Language is taught through glottodidactics, a reading and writing method built on language games, dialogues and real conversation, and Montessori-style silence lessons give children room to explore and learn on their own.

Meals are planned to meet nutrition standards for preschool-age children, and extra classes build social skills, creativity and movement. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the school is closed on Saturdays. Families enroll through an online form, and the school is on Rohlwing Road in Rolling Meadows.
