Designers Point

Designers Point is a full-service home remodeling company that focuses on custom kitchen and bath design and remodeling, and it will take on other interior remodeling jobs as well. The team handles the whole project, from the first design conversation through demolition, construction and finishing, and it can supply the vendors and materials the project needs. Clients have said the designers work with their own contractors and let them make their own choices on finishes.

The company was founded in 2012 by former employees of The Great Indoors and is run by owner Dick Minar and business partner Karen Schone, both designers. Projects start at the showroom in Rolling Meadows, where homeowners can talk through ideas and see the work. Clients are asked to bring photos of their current kitchen or bath and their ideas for the remodel when they get in touch.
