Fred's Market

Fred's Market is a southern home-style restaurant known for slow-cooked food with a farm-to-plate focus. The menu covers weekday and weekend breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the restaurant also offers takeout, catering, and holiday feasts. The restaurant grew out of a gas station where Evelyn Johnson cooked family meals for her husband and children, and it has been serving southern cooking since 1954.

Takeout and catering are available, and online ordering is offered for pickup. The Riverview location is on US Highway 301 South and serves breakfast and lunch seven days a week, with dinner served into the evening. The dining room is cozy and warm, and the cooking is meant to be hearty and unprocessed. Fred's Market also has locations in Plant City and Lakeland.
