Discovery Point

Discovery Point Summerfield is a child care center serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergarten children. Its teachers use a research-based curriculum with a child-centered approach, and the center's proprietary Discovery Point Connections curriculum focuses on early language development and literacy. Programs also include summer and spring break camps and before and after school care.

The center is family owned and operated by sisters Maryann Di Leo and Peggy Ballweg, who both hold graduate degrees and left corporate careers to open it. The center is at Summerfield Crossing Boulevard in Riverview, and it is a franchise location independently owned and operated. Families can schedule a tour through the website or by phone.
