Steve's Heating & Cooling is a locally owned HVAC company that has repaired and installed air conditioners and furnaces in the Kansas City area since 1979. Its work centers on same-day AC repair, with trucks stocked with the capacitors, contactors and motors most often replaced, and it also offers heat pump and ductless installation, duct cleaning, and maintenance plans. The company says it installs American Standard equipment for replacements.

A service call is $99 and covers the first hour of diagnosis, with most repairs ranging from $99 to $350 and the price quoted before work begins.
