Ridgefield Bagels & Bakes is a bakery serving bagels, pastries and breakfast and lunch fare. The menu covers bagels with a long list of flavors and cream cheeses, donuts, muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, danishes and coffee cake, along with breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast burrito, avocado toast and a range of deli-style wraps and sandwiches. Owners Gary and Emily King are both trained cooks, with Gary's background in New York City kitchens and Emily a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
The shop is in Ridgefield's Cultural District on Main Street, and it is open early, from 6 AM on weekdays and Saturdays and 7 AM on Sundays, until 3 PM. Orders can be placed online, and the bakery also offers catering. Coffee and teas are brewed in house.
